For many people the ‘funeral cortege’ is still one of the most important aspects of the funeral experience, but it is entirely up to you how you want to conduct this element of the funeral ceremony.
Our Vehicles
Colin Phillips and Daughters Funeral Services can help and explain all the transport options available. Our chauffeur driven funeral fleet will collect you and your family at an agreed time, allowing you to travel in privacy with dignity.
There are a number of things which you will need to think about:
- How many people will require transport?
- The route the cortege will need to take
- Whether or not you have any special requirements e.g. wheelchair access
The Classic Cortege
Our on site transport fleet includes a brand new Mercedes Benz Hearse, a Ssangyong Turismo and a Ssangyong Rexton as cortege vehicles.
Over the years we have taken great pride in providing the highest quality vehicles for a classic funeral cortege. We can also source more individual transportation for you.
Something different
We understand that everyone’s choice is different and that our cars may not be suitable for all ceremonies. As a result, we are flexible and offer other transportation including; limousines and for your more bespoke funeral; a motorbike hearse, a horse drawn carriage or even a pink hearse.
